Smoked Fish Dip

It’s been a very long time since the last visit to Zabars—and grabbing a coveted container of Home-made Smoked Whitefish Dip.  Without the “secret spices” recipe, it might be awhile for the real thing to appear on the table.  But wait—there might be something to hold us over ‘til that happy day.  OK—it’s not Zabars, but it’s a simple, tasty, more or less smoked fish dip, with no secret spices, just  basic pantry staples.  So, here you go—home-made (almost) Smoked Fish Dip—add the savories to your taste.

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1-2 tblsp each—mayonnaise and sour cream
  • 1-2.8 oz pkg Hickory Smoked Tuna Creations
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Horseradish
  • Dijon mustard
  • Hot sauce

Mix all ingredients well with immersion blender or hand mixer.  Chill several hours until firm and flavors meld.
