HEATH BAR BROWNIES
One thing better than a pan of warm brownies???? A pan of warm brownies with melted Heath Bar crumbles on top! Mix this up stove top, pour in a baking pan—half an hour later it’s brownies. These are very rich, very chocolate-y. Cut in bite sized pieces with some sliced fruit or berries—a pretty perfect dessert.
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 cup Heath Bar crumbles
In a saucepan melt butter with sugar—stir with wooden spoon until melted and well combined. Stir in vanilla and set aside to cool for about 10 minutes. Whisk flour, cocoa and baking powder. Beat three eggs and add gradually to melted butter and sugar. Add flour mixture and beat well to combine thoroughly. Spread in buttered 8” or 9” pan and scatter Heath Bar bits on top of batter. Bake in pre-heated 350’ oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until edges are well done.
